As the days get shorter, the mornings get a little frostier, and the Southern Alberta landscape settles into fall, it’s time to look back on another busy and beautiful season at Bee Boyse Honey!
From buzzing hives to golden jars of raw, unfiltered honey, our bees have been hard at work all summer long. And let’s be honest — they’ve probably been busier than most of us!
A Summer Full of Buzz
Summer in Southern Alberta brings an incredible variety of blooms, from clover and wildflowers to sunflowers and other seasonal favourites. These blooms provide our bees with the nectar they need to keep their colonies thriving and produce the delicious honey we love.
Every season brings something a little different, and that’s part of what makes local honey so special. The weather, the flowers, and the changing landscape all play a role in the honey our bees create.
Here at Bee Boyse Honey, we’re proud to offer raw, unfiltered honey straight from our hives in Okotoks, Alberta. It’s honey with a connection to our local landscape, made the way nature intended.
Small Bees, Big Jobs
While we start thinking about cooler weather and cozy days, our bees are preparing for the months ahead. As temperatures drop, the hive becomes a carefully managed little world, with the colony working together to stay warm and conserve its resources through winter.
It’s a good reminder that even when the busy summer season comes to an end, there’s still plenty happening behind the scenes!
Thank You for Supporting Local Honey
Whether you picked up a jar for your kitchen, used our honey in your favourite recipes, or connected with us about bulk honey or nucs, we want to say a big thank you for supporting Bee Boyse Honey.
Choosing local honey helps support small businesses and keeps you connected to the hardworking bees that play such an important role in our local environment.
We’re grateful to everyone who has been part of our season, and we look forward to sharing more of our honey, our bees, and a little sweetness with you in the months ahead.
Looking Ahead to a Sweet New Season
As we wrap up another year, we’re already looking forward to what next season will bring. Until then, there’s no better time to stock up on local honey, get creative in the kitchen, or enjoy a spoonful straight from the jar.
Thanks for being part of our hive!
From our bees to your table, here’s to keeping life sweet.
