Looking to start your own hive? Our 5-frame nuc (short for “nucleus colony”) is the perfect little starter family — basically a baby beehive with big potential.
Each nuc comes with a healthy, brand new queen, hardworking nurse bees, brood in all stages (eggs, larvae, and capped brood), plus frames filled with honey and pollen to get them off to a strong start. It’s a small but mighty colony that’s already organized, productive, and ready to move into its new home.
Raised right here in Alberta, our bees are accustomed to prairie conditions and are selected for strong overwintering ability, gentle temperament, and steady honey production.
